Additional costs to expect
These are paid to government agencies, not to LaunchPad.
State incorporation fee
There are additional costs to incorporate in the state where your nonprofit will operate. The amount is set by that state and varies by location.
IRS user fee — $600 or $275
You pay $600 if you file the long-form application (Form 1023), or $275 if you qualify for the short-form application (Form 1023-EZ). LaunchPad helps you determine which one applies to you.
Optional extras
Some founders also pay for a registered agent or a state charitable-solicitation registration. Neither is required to use LaunchPad.
LaunchPad provides educational guidance and is not a law firm or accounting firm.
